IPL skin rejuvenation is a non-invasive, comfortable treatment. It revitalises your skin by using a broad spectrum of high-energy light generated from an IPL machine to stimulate collagen regeneration, improve skin elasticity, reduce fine lines, smoothen skin and improve pores. How is IPL performed in Singapore?
 

After cleansing, a cooling gel will be applied onto your face before the procedure. Your eyes will be covered by an eye shield for safety during the treatment. The IPL handpiece is placed gently onto your skin to target the skin problems. You will feel a mild rubber band snapping sensation on the skin during treatment. The entire treatment will take approximately 10~15 minutes. This is generally well tolerated by our patients.

 
How many treatments are needed?
 

We recommend 5~10 sessions in our treatment protocol depending on your skin condition. Treatment sessions are usually 4~6 weeks apart.

 
How will I look after IPL treatment?
 

Patients may experience some mild redness which usually goes away in a day. Some skin pigmentation spots may appear darker initially but should lighten or disappear with time. A good sun block and skincare are essential to maintain good results.
